Nepal

This is one of my absolute favourite countries in the world, and I am shocked to realize that it is as far back as 2011 since I visited for the last time. Love the active Buddhist and Hindu culture and the mountain landscapes.

2007 (October): arrived overland from Tibet and visited some old favourites in and around Kathmandu.

2001 (April): A month on public transport on my own, from Pokhara to the Terai.

1993 (September): A few days in Pokhara and Kathmandu as part of a Dutch group tour to India & Nepal.
