World Heritage Traveller

Kyrgyzstan really deserves its own focus, not just a few days as part of a longer route through Central Asia. The mountain scenery is beautiful, the people are peaceful and hospitable, and the simplicity is refreshing. It is also quirky, with a statue of Lenin and a tank or war plane proudly on display in each town.
